Fieldbus Assemblies

When connecting sensors and actuators with the control system (PLC) via a fieldbus, pre-assembled cables can offer significant benefits. Especially in moving applications such as cable chains, where many aspects have to be considered, it is helpful if the cable required for signal transmission is available with pre-installed connectors, simplifying the installation. The design and materials of the cable and the connectors must be selected in such a way that even continuously moving applications do not suffer from problems during data transmission.

LAPP therefore offers its cable assemblies with a robust and halogen-free PUR outer sheath, able to withstand high mechanical stress, is insensitive to mineral oil-based lubricants and is chemically resistant in many cases, making it particularly suitable for moving machine parts.

We offer various cable and connector combinations for the bus systems CAN/DeviceNET and PROFIBUS® DP.
