ELEKTROCAD loads cable types and colour codes into the material database, as well as other information such as cable types, wire cross sections, wire markings, etc. The user accesses this information during project planning and ELEKTROCAD automatically creates cable lists with all cable information and data on the connected components.

Lapp Cables has made the current catalogue data available for download, which can then be imported into the ELEKTROCAD material database by way of a database import.
