SPS IPC DRIVES IN RETROSPECTIVE
“The Art of Connecting.” was the motto at our stand at the SPS IPC Drives trade show in Nuremberg. The Art of Connecting stands for the special art of making cables and connections for every application. It’s why we presented the fine and unique art of engineering as shown by the Lapp Group developers and employees who always find the best solutions:
Conflicting characteristics combined
Products for the food and drinks industry
The ETHERLINE® ROBUST and EPIC® ULTRA H-B are perfect for withstanding steam and aggressive cleaning agents.
Special fire protection products
Our new ÖLFLEX® HEAT 125 and ETHERLINE® FIRE PH120 ensure the best protection against fire.
The new SKINTOP® GRIP-M boasts a particularly high strain relief. It is primarily designed for machinery and equipment parts that are moved, such as foot switches, circular saws or control pendants. The SKINTOP® GRIP-M is available as standard in three different sizes: M 20, M 25 and M32. The cable gland, made of nickel plated brass, can be used dynamically in the temperature range of -25°C to + 100°C and statically from -40°C to +100°C.
Other new products at the SPS
- ETHERLINE® PN Cat.5 RJ45 series
- EPIC® ULTRA H-A 3 rectangular connector
New at our stand this year was a workbench. Under the motto, “Learning by Doing“, our customers found out about a selection of products at the workbench and could try them out themselves and see just how quick and easy it is to fit products made by Lapp.
We also presented our solutions and applications for control cabinets. On a stylised control cabinet, we showcased the wide-ranging Lapp portfolio made up of cables and wiring of every kind, cable glands and ducts, connectors and cable accessories that also cover every imaginable requirement in the manufacture of control cabinets.
